  5. PIPING CML OPTIMIZATION

Condition monitoring Locations (CMLs) are used in plant process piping to provide long term metal loss trends in support of asset integrity programs. This presentation overviews the various ways these CMLs can be optimized to ensure that the condition monitoring program is effective for the process conditions, damage mechanisms, and risk. It is important that you have confidence that you are monitoring the most representative locations, using the right number of locations, and utilizing the most appropriate NDT technology. Ray Goodfellow has over 30 years of experience in plant integrity programs both as a materials engineer and as a Chief Inspector. Ray has experience in optimizing plant integrity programs through risk management approaches supported by a combination of technical expertise and practical experience.
