  5. Live Event Series – Doing More with Less: Optimizing Inspections and Non-Destructive Testing Technologies.

On behalf of IRISNDT, we’d like to invite you to join our Live Event series on “Doing More with Less: Optimizing Inspections and Non-Destructive Testing Technologies.” At IRISNDT, we are keen to share our knowledge of specialized non-destructive applications and our mechanical integrity insights with you.  With these Live Events, we intend to connect with the inspection and mechanical integrity community.

Our first Live Event is titled “Understanding when to use Film, Computed Radiography, or Digital Detector Array”, and will be presented by Chris Bishop.  Today when radiography is performed, one may choose between using film radiographic testing (RT), computed radiography (CR), or digital detector array (DDA). Which is the better technology for the image required?  Chris has over 23 years experience in inspection and maintains CGSB Level II certifications in RT and PT.  This presentation will discuss the advantages, limitations, and practicality in various industrial applications; these will include fabrication and corrosion survey profile RT.

Don’t miss our second event on “must know tips” of nonmetallics failures (O-rings and lined pipe among others) on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at 11 AM CST, 10 AM MST by Ana Benz.  More details later.

Register Here to join this Live Event, hosted on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at 11 AM CST, 10 AM MST.
