  5. Live Event Series – Doing More with Less: Optimizing Inspections and Non-Destructive Testing Technologies.

On behalf of IRISNDT, we’d like to invite you to join our Live Event series on “Doing More with Less: Optimizing Inspections and Non-Destructive Testing Technologies.” At IRISNDT, we are keen to share our knowledge of specialized non-destructive applications and our mechanical integrity insights with you.  With these Live Events, we intend to connect with the inspection and mechanical integrity community.

Our second Live Event is titled “Forensics of nonmetallic materials.”  Ana Benz will present “must-know tips” of failures of nonmetallic parts (O-rings and lined pipe, among others).   Ana Benz, IRISNDT’s Chief Engineer, has worked for IRISNDT for almost 23 years.  She has worked on nonmetallic parts for 40 years. Why are these failures critical? Their consequences can be as significant as those of metallic components. For example, the Space Shuttle Challenger Disaster in 1986, which shocked and changed the world, was due to O-ring failures.

To join this Live Event, hosted on Tuesday April 28, 2020 at 11 AM CST, 10 AM MST follow the link and click to register. Register Here
