Rope Access Training

Welcome to IRISNDT Rope Access. We are a full Trainer and Operating member of the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA), the world’s leading authority in rope access. IRATA offers 3 levels of certification. You enter the industry at level 1 after completing a course and independent assessment. At level 1 you will be mentored in the industry by your co-workers and specially your supervisors, who in some cases have thousands of hours working as rope access technicians.

Once you have gained enough experience you will be able to progress to level 2, where you will greatly expand your skills and knowledge. You will access even more difficult locations at this level, since good level 2’s are heavily relied upon in our industry as extremely competent and skilled workers.

Once you are ready to take the next step and upgrade to level 3 you will learn about the management and organizing of rope access teams. Your advanced rigging and rescue skills will be invaluable when planning and designing complex rope access systems. Your knowledge of equipment, standards, and legislative requirements will dramatically improve. Level 3’s are the supervisors and are the subject-matter-experts in our field.
