Tanks are ubiquitous and essential in industrial societies.  When they fail, the consequences can be dire if products/volumes they store are explosive and/or toxic. IRISNDT is pleased to have their Chief Engineer, Ana Benz, relate some “Tank Tales” in the July|August 2019 issue of the respected magazine “Inspectioneering Journal.”  Topics cover the challenges in welding drain nozzles, repairing tanks, and inspecting tank roofs among others.
