QUALITY ASSURANCE
IRISNDT has a Quality Assurance system that has been developed to ensure our personnel provide our customers with quality services acceptable to industry, code specification(s), and IRISNDT standards. The program is controlled, administered and revised regularly, per industry, code and IRISNDT requirements.
The following documents form the basis of our system: Quality Assurance Manual; NDT Procedures Manual; Personnel Certification Manual; Management, Administration and Personnel Policies; Operating Procedures.
Our Quality Program includes elements such as:
- Document control
- Tender and contract control
- Procurement
- Calibration/verification of measuring and testing equipment
- Identification and traceability of equipment and consumables
- Non-conformance system with follow-up
- Corrective action
- Quality audits
Our current Quality Assurance system has been developed in accordance with ISO guidelines. We have kept ourselves educated and abreast of developments in quality assurance standards and principles by attending courses/seminars and working with independent quality consultants. Our Quality Assurance Manager and Branch Managers conduct and document internal audits on our personnel on a regular basis.
Many of our customers and regulatory bodies (i.e. ABSA and CWB) have audited and approved our Quality Assurance system. IRISNDT's Quality Assurance Manager is available for consultation during audits, at no cost to the customer. This ensures that any issues arising during the auditing process can be resolved promptly.
Our philosophy at IRISNDT is that true quality is only achieved with total commitment of employees and management at every level.
IRISNDT will provide our customers controlled copies of our manuals, when required.
