PIPELINE INTEGRITYWelcome to IRISNDT's QUALITY NONDESTRUCTIVE TESTING AND MATERIALS ENGINEERING SERVICES.
IRISNDT's Pipeline Integrity Services include the use of various nondestructive testing (NDT) methods to evaluate the type and extent of pipeline discontinuities including, but not limited to; stress corrosion cracking (SCC), corrosion, third party damage, manufacturing defects, wrinkles, bends or buckles. Our Pipeline Integrity inspection personnel are certified and experienced in applicable NDT methods, procedures, codes and specifications currently used in the pipeline industry.
TECHNOLOGY APPLICATIONS
- Pipeline coating condition assessment and documentation.
- External corrosion inspection is assessed with ultrasonic pen probes, pit depth gages and mylar paper impressions. ASME B31G and other accepted remaining strength calculations are used to assess the integrity of the corroded areas.
- Ultrasonic inspection and mapping of internal corrosion, pipe anomalies and weld discontinuities using manual, automated and recordable ultrasonic systems.
- Examination and evaluation of SCC or other discontinuities using Magnetic Particle, Ultrasonics, Eddy Current and Radiography techniques.
- Crack and weld seam anomaly characterization, location and depth profiling.
- Collection of soil, electrolyte, corrosion deposit, and pH measurement data.
- Pipe to soil potentials.
- Ovality and dent/damage measurement and assessment.
- Detailed reporting and data management using IRISNDT Pipeline Integrity software.
- Our technicians are multi-certified, have advanced ultrasonic defect assessment and sizing training and are USDOT Operator Qualification (OQ) compliant.
REPORTING
IRISNDT provides computer generated reporting on site, and will provide customized reporting based on client-specific requirements. Reports are provided daily with digital images to provide our clients with immediate inspection results. IRISNDT can provide client data management with our data management server, allowing secured access to data and reporting from anywhere with an Internet connection 24 hours per day. Final inspection reports will include hard and/or electronic copies of inspection results.
